McClintock hosts wrestling tournament this week

There aren’t too many basketball or soccer tournaments this week involving East Valley schools, but there’s one big wrestling festivity.
The McClintock Wrestling Invitational runs Friday and Saturday at McClintock High School (1830 E. Del Rio Drive., Tempe).
Team participating include:  Basha, Campo Verde, Carl Hayden, Casa Grande, Cesar Chavez,
Chandler, Combs, Desert Mountain, Desert Ridge, Desert View, Empire, Gilbert, Highland,
Higley, Marana, Marcos de Niza, Maricopa, Maryvale, McClintock, Mountain Pointe, Mountain Ridge, Paradise Valley, Payson, Perry, Red Mountain, Saguaro, Shadow Mountain, Sunnyside,
Tempe, Westwood and  Williams Field.

Wrestling begins Friday at 10:00 am
approx. three rounds
Wrestling begins Saturday at 9:00 am
Finals Saturday at 5:00 pm

This year the McClintock Tournament will be run on Trackwrestling.com.
If you are not familiar with this site, here are easy instructions to find tournament information:
1. Go to trackwrestling.com
2. Under Quick Search, scroll to Arizona where it says "state held in" and hit GO
3. The 2012 McClintock Wrestling Tournament will be the first to appear- click it
4. Click Enter Tournament
5. The Teams entered into this tournament have been released - just click on teams and you should get names of 32 teams
6. Once Teams have been weighed in on Friday, individual names will be released and bracket information will be available as well
7. Once this tournament begins, bracket information will be updated immediately
